7/11/09 07:13 pm - Main House, Room 20; Saturday Evening

He'd gotten almost a week of emo and drinking and angst and mourning. Apparently something -- or someone -- had decided it was enough, since every time he tried to shut the door, said door just kept opening right back up again.

"Okay, okay, I get the hint," he complained. "Jeez, Lil. I get the message."

He didn't know if it was really Lilly haunting the room or if it was just some random weirdness. It was just nice to let himself think that she was still around to some degree.

Still didn't mean he was cheerful about anything, though. He was just a little less grumpy and the door was open as he watched TV, aimlessly flipping through the channels.

7/5/09 08:08 pm - Main House, Room 20, Sunday Evening

Owen had known that Lilly would have to go soon, that her conscience wouldn't let her stay forever, not even for him. But he was grateful that she'd stayed for at least a little bit. That they'd had at least a short chance to actually live together. It wasn't the same as getting to live a life together, but it was at least something.

She had gone off to do something -- he hadn't felt like pressing her, not when time was in such short supply -- so now he was waiting for her to come back. It'd given him time to sit and think. Hopefully she'd get back before he hit emo.

5/11/09 09:15 am - Main House, Room 20, Monday Afternoon

Owen was bored, therefore he was indulging in a fit of productivity and rearranging his room while pondering whether or not he wanted to attempt calling his mother.

He was leaning towards "not" on that one, though. Considering he hadn't talked to her since Valentine's Day of the previous year, when she'd tossed his ass out... no. Just no.

Once he got tired of shoving things around, he flopped down across his bed with a book that Lilly had given him for his birthday this year.

8/12/08 08:28 pm - Main House, Room 20, Tuesday Evening

Owen had taken Lana's advice and taken pictures of his kids, as well as a couple videos thanks to handwavily borrowing a camera from someone. He might not have been entirely thrilled about suddenly ending up a parent, but he'd grown attached to his kids over the past couple days.

At the moment, they were all sprawled out around the room, with Anduril snuggling into her father's side on the bed. Nobody was saying anything, mostly because Owen and Lilly had no idea what to say. Somehow, "Sorry you got sucked here for a couple days, have fun when you get home" didn't sound quite right.

[Goodbye for the Harper brood!]

3/16/08 06:52 pm - Phone Call To Lilly, Sunday Evening

Owen had been smart enough to hide out in his room after everything had started. He'd spent most of the day and most of the previous watching TV, surfing the net, and just in general ignoring the insanity. And it wasn't like there was anybody he really cared about, so he didn't have anybody to check on.

That was a lie, actually. Which explained why, as he lay on his bed doing some reading that vaguely connected to his Afterlife class, he reached for his phone and dialed the number that Lilly had handwavily given him.

3/8/08 07:50 pm - Main House, Room 20, Saturday evening

Owen hadn't spent much time in town, electing instead to stay holed up in his room. So far today, he wasn't breaking the pattern. Hey, he wasn't exactly in the mood to deal with people.

He was, however, in the mood to play his music loudly as he unpacked.
